Moulded emergency overflow
- Ensure the gutter around the emergency overflow is clean and dry. Blow dry with heat gun if damp
- Emergency overflows on the gutter sole tend to be raised on average about 70mm
- Continue to roll the liner two metres beyond the emergency overflow
- Using a Stanley knife, cut the liner around the external of the emergency outlet until the section of liner can be removed
- Using the specified fixings pin the liner around the emergency overflow. Outlet size will determine the quantity of fixings required
- Ensure Sharmans Fixing Caps are installed over all fixings prior to welding
- Push the emergency overflow through the hole until it sits flat with the gutter sole ready for welding
- With the heat gun tack weld the flange on the emergency overflow into four quarter sections forming pockets
- Fully weld all four pockets to the liner
- Allow the emergency outlet to cool before probe testing the weld
- Any un-welded area’s will need to be re-welded and again probe tested once cool
