Barnsley Football Club had been experiencing leaks over seats in the main stand to the dismay of football fans for over 5 years.
This problem had been worsening and the club had tried numerous other treatments including bolting steel plates to the original gutter. Oliver Masters, the Managing Director of OTM Developments recommended the installation of the Plygene Gutterline system as he knew it would guarantee permanent leak prevention.
He commented “There was nothing more suitable for gutter refurbishment than the Sharmans Plygene Gutterline System. The gutter needed to be refurbished on the east stand at Barnsley Football Club which is quite open to the elements. It stands 25 metres from the ground with no shelter.
