Sharmans on-site roof coating surveys are designed to provide the details needed for a quote or an order, to support our network of Approved Contractors.

Our Technical Service Managers will look to understand the age of the roof, the original coating covering overlaps and endlaps, fixing materials and areas to be coated, be it cut edge or full roof coverage.

This is typically undertaken once access to the roof is provided, to ensure the correct assessments can be made to the condition of the roof, such as chalking, but we understand this is not always possible.

Drone Surveys

Our Technical Service Managers are now equipped with market leading DJI drones which enable us to condition survey almost any roof area and type, saving on access equipment such as cherry pickers and reducing the health and safety risk caused by working at height.

These 4K drones provide magnification of up to 4x, providing excellent detail enabling us to assess which phase your roof is in its lifecycle. The images and footage can then be used to put together a meaningful condition report and schedule of works with no need to further inspect these areas.
