Outer Thimble

• Mechanically fix all standard outer thimbles to the gutter sole prior to the gutter liner installation using the Sharman’s specified fixings

Split Thimble

• Always use the proprietary cutting tool to ensure a stress-free circle has been cut into the liner
• Warm the material directly above the outer thimble until it becomes pliable and can be pushed into the outer thimble without splitting
• Squeeze the split thimble and at 45 degrees to the centre of the outlet push through the hole allowing it to fully open without overlapping
• With a mallet tap the split thimble all the way down to the gutter sole
