When Midlands-based facilities management and construction specialists Oakley Industrial Services were asked to provide a fully extended lifecycle solution to 1,400 linear metres of poorly maintained leaking gutters as part of the dilapidation works, they immediately chose Plygene Gutterline backed by its BBA approval and 25 year guarantee.

Sharmans provided its full technical support service, including initial survey, existing condition report, specification generation and field site audit and inspection working alongside Oakley as its Trained Contractor partner. With two boundary gutters and three valley gutters each measuring over 280 linear metres, engineering a solution to reduce site complexity was a critical consideration. The solution was to manufacture the Plygene Gutterline liner in 56m rolls and factory mould some 64 weir overflows and 135 high density syphonic clamping rings.
