When drilling holes into asbestos cement and other highly bonded materials, refer to the current health & safety guide.
The illustration above details an installation with six fasteners – three on each side.
Remember to follow the ‘200 rule’ in order to determine how many fixings are required within pinning regions.

The 200 rule
The maximum gap permitted between fixings in the pinning region is 200mm.
So, for a 300mm gap, an additional fixing is required to bisect at 150mm and a 600mm gap is bridged with two further fixings (one at 200mm and one at 400mm).
