Step number nine in a successful Plygene Gutterline installation is detailed in this video.

Installation Golden Rule 9: All welds must be free from moisture.

At points where bespoke moulded units are to be  welded to the liner, all areas should be moisture free.

Ensure this by drying each area thoroughly before welding.

Otherwise, any trapped water or moisture could weaken the weld, leading to de-lamination and water ingress.

So, all welds must be free from moisture, so that – once dried – the liner can be fitted over the outlet.

The outlet hole should then be trimmed and pinned using the specified fixings provided.

The bespoke moulded outlet is then placed through the hole and hot air welded to the liner.
