Prior to hot air welding of the side/sole outlet, the liner should be pinned and fixed.

The side/sole outlet outlet illustrated shows four fixings, although the requirements vary depending on the size of diameter.
Outlet fixings are determined in a different way than other bespoke moulded units, which follow the ‘200 rule’.
Fixings for outlets
If the outlet’s diameter measures up to and including 200mm, then four fixings should be used.
However, for over 200mm, six fixings are required.
