HD Sharmans undertook a large roof refurbishment project at the Stadium of Light, the home of Sunderland AFC. Over time the metal roof sheets had begun to degrade and required treatment for cut edge corrosion. There had been a history of leaks dripping directly onto the spectators, corrosion at cut edges had quite literally been dampening the mood around the ground.
